Canadian Mountain Outfitters and Upper Stikine River Adventures are located in the expansive Sifton/Kechica and Thudaka/Cassiar Mountain Ranges of Northern British Columbia. It falls into two game management units: 6-19 and 7-52. The area is remote and can only be reached by float plane aircraft or by jet boat, and it receives almost no resident hunting pressure. It is located almost dead center between the Cassiar and Alaska Highway systems or approximately 210 miles north of Smithers, 170 miles south of Watson Lake, and 120 miles southwest of Muncho Lake, making it one of the most remote and untouched hunting areas in British Columbia. We can honestly say there are many parts of this area which have almost no hunting pressure. Daily commercial airline service is available to Smithers, British Columbia, via Vancouver, BC. From Smithers, you will fly to the Upper Stikine River base camps, before departing on your wilderness adventure.
