PACKING TIPS
1) For the commercial flight to the area, pack your gun or bow in a lockable, hard plastic or metal case. Bowhunters may leave their bow and arrows in the hard case for the flight to camp. Gun hunters should transfer their firearm to a soft case or scabbard for this trip and leave their hardcase with the Expeditor.
2) For the commercial flight, pack all of your gear into one checked, large duffel (40-50 lbs) and one carry-on/daypack - 2,000-3,500 cu in (around 15-25 lbs - containing essentials - 1 pair hunting boots, camera, binos, paperwork, Jacket, etc.). Bring 1-2 smaller bags/duffels or heavy duty meat sacks, approx. 2000-3000 cubic inches/each (for the flight to camp and for horse packing). You'll likely use one of these bags to take home cape and horns. The total weight of all equipment should be 60-70 pounds. If you'll be bringing a backpack, put it inside your large duffle for protection or pack it.
